Shown is a WW II German Army single decal M-35 helmet, which was brought back to the states in 1945, by the U.S. Army soldier pictured. Along with the helmet was a picture of the soldier, a letter to his wife who lived in Detroit, Michigan, and the capture tag that shows that the item was cleared by U.S. Intellegence, and gives him permission to keep the items.A knife is also listed on the tag, but the family did not know what happened to it. A nice grouping from one soldier.
