For some time I have thought I should have ONE example of contemporary Art Nouveau style art glass. In my opinion the best work is done by Charles Lotton. He started his glass making in the early 1970's when Art Nouveau was coming back in fashion. This piece is a great example.

Beautiful vase and a nice example of his work! His art glass has been called the "Tiffany of the future"! The Museum of American Glass in West Virginia just opened a special exhibit of his works in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Studio glass movement. He is 77 years young and still makes beautiful glass every day!
