These are from my dad's box, he is to the right prints with the hat, He was the Captain and this men work on the plane. I do not see any names or years . Anyone know what years?

Hi. The photo on the left looks like ww2 maybe in China and several of the men look like they might be pilots. the photo on right looks much later.
1st is apparently a P 51 But the 2nd is bugging me. Obvious Beech tail & old C 45/C18 layout, but nose gear. I'm not going to waste a lot of time looking as I'm sure somebody will ID it. Also it has opposed engs. instead of radials.
Now my Dad did fly from India to western China in 1943s This is way i have prints from China. He would fly over the mountains with a small plane.
