    A Victorian Locket pendant from about 1870 with a glass compartment in back for hair or a photo. Faceted edges are a nice detail. The pearl may be a replacement - it sticks out too much in my opinion.

      Beautiful old piece, indeed the pearl is too large I think, a little (gold?) bead fitch better!
