    These might be somewhat common (I've had 4) but I really like them. This is a two sided porcelain sign that hung outside a recruiter's office. I believe it to be late 1940s. I bought my first one because I am a die hard military man.

      Unless I am mistaken the red circle ,inside the Star ,was removed May 1942
      so it wouldn’t be mistaken for Japanese (Picture 1)
      Unless it’s a reproduction ,it would have to be before 1942
