This is an item currently in storage, after I get a chance to clean it up a bit and bring it into better light I will post more photos. In all honesty I'm not sure of the history of this piece, I just Know its been in our family ever since I can remember. The carved wood and brass face plate and pendulum have an art nouveau look about them. Its bothering me that I can't remember what country is known for this flower design(maybe French?)

I think so, the clock was sent out for repair a few years ago. Could it have been fixed there?

Lovely. Certainly consistent with the French Art Nouveau style, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it was created there. Your best bet as to the origin of the clock is to check the movement. The clock back plate should have some markings that will allow you to narrow down the country of origin (at least for the movement itself). I suspect that the movement is an 8-day chime given the two winding holes on the face plate.

I'm trying to figure out why CW took this out of the Art Nouveau sub-category?

Good question. You can just put it back yourself. I do it all the time.

Is it a Kienzle clock if it has a plaque on the inside that says Radium Gong?
