    The Cannon had been in our family since I could remember, it belonged to my Great Grandfather along with the coins. Would love any information on these items.

      Thanks you guys for all the help. It is a napoleon style 1/3 scale canon. I went to this link: (http://www.gunauction.com/buy/8481213/black-powder/black-powder-accessories/napoleon-style-1-3-scale-canon) that walksoftly posted, it is the exact same cannon I have. Thanks again for all the help. PS: @mustangtony...the Morgan dollar has no mint mark that I could find, even under magnifying glass.

      I have one exactly like this and have seen the same cannon in an antique store. My research says they were made in Spain but I don't have a reference at hand. Rogerww
