    This is a pretty neat radio that came from a local collector that was selling of his collection. Very neat looking radio and best of all, it works. Not something I would usually buy but the look really drew me in.

      And all these years I thought these were specially made for background in really old movies!

      Yep that's a keeper, very nice radio. The Crosley Showbox was released in 1928, which was the year when AC radios hit the public.
