Love the old lighters. My old docktor Frederick Rice was the cap. of the Spirit of Indianapolis a B29 bomber. He knew Paul Tibbet well and had a photo of the Enola Gay signed by Paul tibbet in his office. Here is a link you my like.

The Enola Gay droped " Little Boy" on Hiroshima. Then Bockscar droped "Fat Man" on Nagasaki.

    Corsair Cigarette Lighter:
I am looking for a military airplane cigarette lighter.
It is an F4U4 Corsair Cigarette Lighter.
The lighter is a miniature copy of the WWII Marine Corps/Navy famous " gull wing fighter." The lighter mechanism is in the canopy and the plane is has about a 9" inch wing span and about a 6" fuselage. The plane has attached wheels. Some also have stands. I have seen seem in both gold and silver. I believe it was made in Japan after the war. I have been trying to run a very good to mint edition of this for quite some time and would appreciate any help or leads.

    I collect these, also.
Have you run across any USN themed Ronsons or Colibris?

I'm also looking for a Scripto Vu USN lighter.
