Hi we have here a generic tooth paste carbolic pot lid
for beautifying & preserving the teeth and gums
late 1890's
with Art Nouveau styling

The only time I ever made profit from an Antique shop was selling two of these toothpaste pots, with both lid and base. I went one year and bought a toothpaste pot and sold it online and then a year later returned, purchased another and sold for profit.
It was filthy with dust and the shop keeper wasn't very good with faces and obviously didn't know his stock.

When you find these, is it just the lids or do you find the bases also? Very nice graphics on this one.
Hi Mrstyndall yes you do find bases but very hard to match up with pot lid if been separated when tipping on site originally
