Koloman Moser, the world famous designer during the Art Nouveau period created this for Loetz. The decor is called Luna Optisch done in one of the most iconic and popular shapes ever made by Loetz. The simple genius of the design was placing the bowl shape onto three legs, sold thru the retailer Bakalowits.

Those feet are so delicately and expertly placed. The rim is nicely everted too! Once in a blue moon... thoroughly modern....the feet strangely remind me of the sugar bowl by C. Dresser ( aka Christy for Alessi). Thanks for sharing this one, Famatta!
