LOL - Everyone remembers when Apples actually came in a Wooden Box. People always kept the boxes too. One of my old wooden boxes here. Had a few over the years of various wood crates / boxes. Thought I take you down memory lane here. You still find them around here

Aren't these old crates lovely! Useful too.
I have glass sitting on top of mine (no more shelf room left).
I remember the fruit being premium back in the 60's still. Incredible to what is offered today at a big store. Fruit has gone to the dogs.

@PhilDMorris, and @racer4four -- Thanks so much for the comments. There is actually a lot of things you can do with them in your home to up-cycle them. yes Phil, our food has went to the Dogs - agree with you totally !!
Could you post the dimensions of this box? I would like to know if its small then others because it has a 2/5 bushel label when a standard box is 4/5 bushel.
