This chair belongs to my parents who bought it in the early 1960s in Montreal, Canada. It has no manufacturer's name or anything to identify it, but I think it must be Modern Danish as they sourced it in a Danish store and it looks very similar to furniture I've been looking at on the web. It's solid teak with the original upholstery, and very comfy! It's been in Edinburgh, UK for more than 40 years and is (a bit) older then me!

Nice. Reminds me of my youth and my parents' home! There may have been a paper label stapled to the bottom of the chair which in all those intervening years may have fallen off. Did it have a matching ottoman? DD@Phila
No ottoman, although they also bought dining chairs in the same store upholstered in the same fabric.
Nice. DD@Phila
