It's always nice when a sign is received and hangs as nicely as imagined (or maybe even better). Such is the case with this canvas bottler's banner which delivered today. I purchased from a Connecticut seller, ala BIN request, after his bid auction did not reach reserve price. Brought her home for a C-note less than reserve. Seller advertised this as a 40's sign which hung over a drugstore entrance out east. It has no trade mark detail, nor maker's mark, which caused me to do extensive research, with little luck. Only after running it by our trusty experts TGBWC and earlycoke did I feel comfortable pulling the trigger. Glad I did. The banner provides a nice visual break at the 1/2 way point of our very long ranch basement. I probably will never know exact age, but that's OK. It's unique and looks great to me.
Hope everybody has a nice weekend.

Sweeeeet Banner Dave, Great Spot!
Thanks Gents! Always nice to hear from members of the Eight-Pack Club. Sharing this stuff with you guys is half the fun. Appreciated.
Forgot to ask were you able to find out when this banner was made?
Hi Trev. It looks like the '41-'62 logo, but without the trademark info, can't say for sure. Probably somebody who knows about canvas banner or tent manufacturing could tell. I really don't know.
The best piece of Coca-cola memorabilia for that spot Dave, cause us tall guys don't have to worry about smackin' our loaf's on it!!! Looks great there buddy, and while you're workin up a real sweat on that treadmill you have a nice object to admire!!
Thanks Bernie! I need to dust off that treadmill soon and jump aboard... :)
