When I saw these for some reason they reminded me of the Mediterranean and good food and I also thought they were just sooo! pretty, I loved the green thread winding around the clear bottles. So I bid and won much to my surprise.
It is a co-joined oil and vinegar bottle set, (if there a proper title to it I would love to know) nice clear marks on the sterling silver collars of 'John Grinsell & Sons' - Birmingham and the date letter of 1900.
All though obviously not a vase it sits and looks quite happy amongst my vases.
Hope you like it as well, thanks for looking....:-)

Many thanks miKKoChristmas11...;-)
Delightful! Just a guess but would this not be a cruet?
Albeit not your common type?
If I ever find one as lovely it will be a cruet until I am corrected;0)
Many thanks Lisa-lighting I think you may be right! I have always thought a 'cruet' as a salt & pepper set and maybe mustard, but! of course years ago it used to always include oil and vinegar. I too will call it a 'cruet' till told otherwise....:-)
