This lovely little ring is a mystery to me. I got it in a pile of old junk jewellery but I have always loved its delicate and well make qualities.
Any Ideas? the metal appears to be silver? Stone is an aqua green colour and faceted on both sides of the stone. The delicate designs on the shank of the ring going up to the bezel are fleur des lis which maybe is made in France? There are no jewellers marks on the ring.
I would be very interested in knowing its history/origin. Thanks from everyone out there who are jewellery buffs like myself..blingiton1948

Looking at the scratches, the 'stone' seems glass to me. But I'm no expert.
Wow! so beautiful! This looks like an emerald to me, a very clear one which would make it valuable. Emeralds are in the mineral 'beryl' family which is soft and easy to scratch. Lucky find!
Thank you amykathleen66..maybe I should have it appraised just to be sure..appreciate your comments..blingiton1948
