Not sure exactly what I have here. It's solid brass, weighs about 100 pounds. Most of the insides have been removed. Has an inspection stamp inside dated January 29th 1953. What confuses me is that it is not like other telegraphs where it says, full ahead, astern, etc..Is it possible to have an rudder telegraph? Says Siemens Brothers and Co Limited London, and then numbers 3781 below it. What would it have come off of? Any info would be really appreciated! Thanks!

      AR8Jason,

Thank you for the info. Very helpful. After searching through 100's of photos I have not seen any others like it. I've looked for pictures of the bridge on 1950's aircraft carriers and such but there are very few that show a good view. I would love to find a picture of this or something close to it in its actual place.
