Some of the Navy rating badges and hash marks I have collected over the years. AR8Jason aka (Kevin) can inform us of the rates and years of service. photo (1) starts with the Navy gray, Marine Corps Green, white, Navy Blue. the hash marks represent 4 years of service of each. The 3 gold hashes represent 12 consecutive years of good behavior; 12 consecutive years of good behavior were required to wear the gold.

I seem to recall that the "E" patch is the Battle Efficiency Award, called the Navy Battle "E". I think I had one once upon a time from one of the many deployments during my time in the Navy.
