I had this tea service for a while and I sold it about two years ago.
Its a famous design from Willem Rozendaal for the Sphinx factory in Maastricht, Holland. It was designed in 1924 and it depicts an oriental tower, the name of this design was Serail.
It was made in different colors, you can find it in yellow, green, red, white...
The Sphinx factory, founded in 1827 by Petrus Regout made lots of good quality pottery,glass and tiles. They stopped production of pottery in 1969.
