This bracelet is very old but still looks modern and even modernist when worn on the wrist with the links fanning out about 1/2" tall. My guess it's English/Scottish (?), and opinions in favor / against this theory are very welcome. The agate pieces are all a bit different because they are hand carved.

Yes it looks modernistic, maybe art deco from the thirties?

Davyd286, what a surprise to "meet" you at silver forum! The world is so small.

    Agates and not bakelite!

Indeed, Agram, it's a small world.
To clarify, this bracelet precedes the Art Deco period; it's Victorian.

This is beautiful, and I have the same bracelet! Just acquired actually. I thought from the style it was 1930s-1940s, but after some research I'm beginning to lean toward Victorian. Thanks for posting this picture!
