    This Crocker Wheeler Bipolar Motor is 1/6 hp. and is Pat. Sept. 22, 1891.
    It came to me with this fan blade attached. I am not so sure that it belongs with it. I have seen similar Crocker Wheeler fans, but, they had a guard over the blade. Can anybody shed more light as to weather it originated as a fan or is it just installed on this very neat motor? ..flyfan.

      Hotairfan, You have the coolest collection of old gadgets i have ever seen, outside a museum. It does appear the fan blade may be a replacement, and the original was "probably" a 6 blade fan, with a guard as shown in the link below. Very Nice Indeed!
