This Bernhard Hertz skonvirke owl was originally a brooch, but someone has had it changed to a pendant. Another one in original condition can be seen on Tadema Gallery's homepage, under sold items.
The other owls are unmarked. The thing on the third picture is an ink blotter!

Perhaps I misunderstand you - but the book is definitely marked. There are two little marks (Swedish, as far as I can see) below the owl's feet!
