Here you go valentino! (Sorry for the blurriness)
I actually gathered this up today and can you see what I did with the little ones that used to be screw backs? I have a little change I want to do to them and all this needs cleaning!
I put together the other pair of earrings, next to them, today too. Some beads I used on the first earring came up MIA when I was doing the 2nd and I'm a freak about that...I have to re-do them or it will drive me crazy.
It's all auth coral, heshe, onyx etc...most from the 70's. I used to do the real intense beadwork, like the kind mostly known on clothes & shoes- I just did jewelry-very intense...but no more!!!
I guess this was for lovely Valentino97 but I will write something too :). These are really nice. What makes them native american jewelry, is that type of jewelry that you have used to put them together or is it the style you're thinking of or both? You did a good job in any case, they look very nice.
Oh, I just found the answer in your other post. Now I can say I love it!! :)
Clever!!
Nice display ! :)
Beautiful !!
Thanks Share! Wow these are great and nice display and shots too! Some great old beads and stones there. I know exactly what you're talking about losing that Perfect Bead - and being obsessed. Pretty much everything I create I want to tear apart. I have to leave it alone at that point and come back later. Let's see...I have about 10 jewelry projects half done right now - hee hee! But when I need a gift for someone I finish one up and the recipient's response is often "wow you did all this for me?". I love hand-made gifts.
I like those sterling earrings very much! Would you happen to have any pictures from your 70's work? I'd love to see.
Share I'd like to exchange emails so that I can send you pix of some turquoise bead-work jewelry I've made. If the beads were vintage I'd post on CW but they aren't and I don't think members like that.
By the way - I love the set you made for your niece!!
Thanks for the love and comments & putting a smile in my heart! Elisabethan, racer, Mike and Mani!
Val, you got it! Sounds like we have a lot in common!! I wish I would have always thought of photographing the things I made! Although I do have just a few pics of a time when I used to decorate baskets and wall hangings I think would qualify here. I'll post next week.
Now I only make things as gifts too, it's not possible for me to compete with some other countries, if you know what I mean. My ID pic is a necklace and earrings I put together for my niece for her wedding. I did all the brides maids too-all with vintage pearls. I know it's a bit hard to see and it wasn't complete then either, but she absolutely loved it and it was perfect for her dress! Thanks again!
Share - I knew that was her necklace and how lovely! We have something in common! I also did the necklaces for my niece's bridesmaids! The colors were bronzy brown and sage green. I made every necklace slightly different so they could choose.
Oh wow...I didn't even see all the loves I got until just now! Nice!! Thank you all. I don't get the messages in my email anymore. I must have changed settings or something??? (I do have a check mark in the box saying email me when...but it doesn't!)
Thank you everybody for all the loves and comments!
