Restored VANDERMAN Trunk

Here is a VANDERMAN trunk that we recently restored. The last picture shows the rusted, broken condition it was in before we started. We sand blasted all of the exposed metal and then covered it with black leather and also hand-stitched leather around the metal handles for a more comfortable grip. We replaced some of the wood slats using hand-hammered rivets and then refinished them all with a blended varnish.
