Marshall Fields Steamer Trunk

Here's a steamer that sold on my site the 1st day I listed it, a few years back. It was a fairly plain looking trunk that I recovered in a suede-like leather and jazzed it up a bit with the veg-tanned binding and brass sheet center bands. It had one of those heavy brass locks that I love and I got lucky in that I was able to fit a key for it pretty easily. The brass makers plaque shined up nicely and I moved it from the lid to front and center on the body.
