I've been riding motorcycles for over 40 years and I've owned 18 bikes, everything from a Honda 50 to a Suzuki RE-5 rotary. I currently own and ride the classic 1975 GL1000 seen here and a 2002 Kawasaki Concours. Lat summer I saw this classic "rat bike",complete with an authomobile hood ornament bungeed onto the front fender, parked on my street, Gotta love it!

I dont think that the bungee is holding the ornament 'cause it would pull it off, maybe that's just the angle the pic was taken at......also looking for your '75 GL1ooo.....must be my computer...... :-)

I posted it here a couple of days back. Look around. I think you'll find it somewhere close by.

Thanks but it would need to pull VERY hard as I live in Florida ! Great picture !

Never mind, I thought you were joking about the ornament..................looked at your stuff and saw your bike.................very nice !

Except for the fender ornament and the crash bars,it looks like a nice original Indian cheif from the 30s.
