Found the Painting display easel in a flea market for $10.00
I think it's beautiful and trying to figure out which painting I should display on it.
This is the painting I have chosen but I just don't know....does the gold frame over power it all?
Painting was a thrift store find for $13.00
and the artist was kind enough to reply to me and give details on this piece :) let's just say I got a hell of a deal on this painting ;) and I love it!
She was so nice and I appreciate when an artist replies.

Great easel, and great painting, melanie! I'd sit with it for a while and see how you feel. You could try changing the painting out with others, too, I change my wall decor with the seasons. :)

But I think this will look awesome in my front room/sitting room.
Just purchased a 1913 singer sewing machine....not that I sew
but the cabinet and stand is so ornate and beautiful I had to have it for the front room...it's going to make a great "table" to display some old books and pottery :)

Looks cold to me ! Really ornate easel. Made a lot of them in the past but never went ornate.

I too love your easel Melanie! Personally, I think the gold frame provides a nice contrast to the darker wood. Also, I think the easel makes a lovely decorative piece on its own!
