New Addition to the collection.

Hello Glass experts at CW, I found this bright Maroon bowl at a sale and was immediately attracted to the colors. I am new at collecting glass so your expert comments and inputs about the origin or maker or kind of glass art or any information would be great. The place where this come from had many high end glass and furniture pieces so I am hoping this could be an collectible item. Either way I like it ;).
There was another Art glass vase signed 'V T Pivone' that caught my attention ( Very Expensive ), does any body know any thing about the artist? I tried to find information on him/ her but came up empty. Thanks for inputs.
