This is an original WW1 era Imperial German Kaiser battle flag. This flag was used on ships as well as on land in certain circumstances. The flag is around 100 years old. This was used way before the nazis cam to power in 1933. It has the imperial eagle in the middle and the iron cross in the upper left hand corner. The edges were reinforced to last longer when flown. It measures approx 405 by 735 mm.
