Vintage Bakelite Earrings

These earrings are in pretty good shape. The Bakelite is beautiful! There are no scratches or problems of any kind on the plastic but the metal part could use some gentile cleaning. The earrings are about 3/4 of an inch.

I have seen earrings with similar backs on line and people dated them anywhere from the 1930's to the 1950's. Some people said that earrings with this back were French. Because there are no markings on the earrings, I would only say that they are vintage and Bakelite.
