This is yet another brooch from Bernard Instone, I have also been watching this brooch for a while. As you can see the Opal is a dome doublet and is surrounded by silver leaves, swirls, berries and half flowers, a classic Bernard Instone brooch. There are has usual no hallmarks, but I'm sure it is Instones work.

It's very clever the way he used the brooch design to disguise the hinge and keeper yet kept the brooch design very open.
