    i picked up this old tile at Urban Ore in Berkeley the other day. it reminds me of some interesting larger tiles i had found a few years ago. it has an interesting mosaic texture to it. Signed w/ a big S in a circle on the back. 6" by 6".

      this is a tile by S & S - Solon & Schemmel, San Jose, CA 1921-1936.
