A picker friend brought these over yesterday. They are bronze. the first one - the sea otter is solid bronze and VERY heavy. the others are hollow - a sea lion, two seals doing it, and something like a koala / raccoon?! A couple are initialed - VJB - for Victor J. Bergeron. There is also a Trader Vic label sticker on it.
i had a couple of more interesting bronzes that he did when he was very young which i posted before. the quality of these pieces is not very good in my opinion, but they are done by his hand - at least the big sea otter. what is that last animal?!
That is indeed a KOALA, mate !!!
That last one does indeed look like a Koala, like you say. [;>)
but his nose is pointed! i think he's actually a lemur.
