The top is has a scalloped edge. It is marked Galle on the side of bottom dish and on the top lid. I have seen many vases but few covered jars like this one. Purchased this in an estate sale in the early '70s. Would like to find out exactly what the pattern is and is it a part of a set. Measures 6" Length 3" Wide and 2 3/4" H
