I found this Czech brooch on a website last week. It seems the star broochs were quite popular. This one is later in manufacture, evident by the clasp and the style of design. I'd say 40s-50s era.
It's still a 6 lined star, it's round rather than just rectangle. The diamentes form a gorgeous tier of stones and are raised on silver metal prongs..It looks stunning in daylight as well as artificial. I will take more photos when the light is better.... :)
I know that Karen @racer4four will rib me on this, but that's okay, I love the pink one, anyway! [;>)
