    One of the few beautiful old pots I have...
    There are Chinese or Japanese characters on the base..I have not been able to find any info on them...
    Chinese characters when written usually go across the page whereas Japanese characters usually go down

    I would love to know its origin & age

      I am sure you have something really significant there. It looks like an artifact even' But I am no expert or even close to Chinese pots!

      Thankyou PostCardCollector…thats very interesting…I have been told similar but had no luck researching its origin and I think they are Chinese characters...
