    Does anyone recognize the makers mark / number on the bottom of this little piece? I like it but am curious as to who made it and how old it might be.

    Now I remember why the mark looked familiar -- it is the same one on the piece of lidded french pottery I posted a week or so ago, also wondering who them maker was. Funny thing is that I didn't get the pieces at the same time or place. So, the answer to this will answer that one too!
