Hi CW Gang:
Here are some more BLUE MOUNTAIN POTTERY ( BMP )pieces of mine. I think these are Oil / Vinegar servers. They are older as you can see by the mark on the bottom. From around the 1950's era. Heavy Glaze and the colors BMP is known for. Blue Mountain Pottery closed down in 2004 here in Canada. All their molds were Destroyed.The death of an era now gone by.

Yup. closed down -- and an Era done and gone!! It was always the time to collect Blue Mountain Pottery ~ but NOW ~it is really time to keep those piece you find!!!
I love Blue Mountain pottery Rose. I have a blue vase which I find unusual as you mostly see the green. I like the animals too, I have a large dolphin and it's tiny baby. The best piece I have is a huge eagle with it's wings out stretched. Never got around to posting it though. It sit on top of a cabinet ready to take off :)

Got rid of a whole bunch before, BUT I am still finding pieces that I had kept as I could not part with some of the older pieces and with the marks. I have an item in Blue ( not the Green ) and I will post for you. Yes, I know the Dolphin. I gave one as an Xmas Gift ( Recycled gift ) as the lady likes Dophins, so why not give a Collectible Gift for Xmas?? The eagle I never had. Well Mike, ya better post it !!! LOL

~ katherinescollections --> Thanks for the comment. I guess they realize the time had come for them to shut down. It had a time and now it was time to cease production. Kinda like the story to life, their is always an end. If you find any where you are -- Nice to Grab it !!
I too love the finish Rosie! The blue is gorgeous and complemented so nicely by the black rim and handle...
