The forks and spoons show so much wear. I wonder how many meals were ladled out using these spoons and forks. The" ancient" can and bottle openers are a far cry from the church keys used today. The longer one served two purposes...the spoon end for serving and straining and the other for opening a bottle.

Sweet collection, I love to find old spoons with lots of wear. I always wonder, How many meals and Holidays were spent with these.
Yes rockbat, I agree. Everything has a story. I have a farmhouse table with so many scuffs and scars and I would not consider refinishing it. Each time I look at it I wonder how many gathered there. thanks for the loveit and thanks also to petey for loving my old spoons and forks and canopeners!
