I love my new find these bookends to add to my collection of early bookends but I would love to know more about the item. I know that it has a company mark that says Fan and Co and copyright 1912 and the name Helen LICOLOPR? can't make out the last name too well but would love to know more!! they stand about 7 inches high and are made of ceramic.

    Any info would be helpful!!

      Found this:

Helen Liedloff designed these bookends in the 1930s for the Fan Co New York
Marked "Helen Liedloff" , "Gemstone Fan Co Ny"
Bookends are in the shape of a Baby Devil / Imp with small horns on the head.
Made of ceramic with a chocolate brown finish
      Measures 6-1/2"H.
