This dresser used to belong to my great great grandfather. I've been told it's from late 1700's but the handles depict the Swedish kinh Jean Baptiste Bernadotte who regined early 19th century. It's a bit puzzeling since my guess is that the chest of drawers is Italian. Maybe they were added later on. Who is hhe funny looking guy in the intharsia supposed to be?
