Hi everyone!
I have found plenty of stuff by this maker, but nothing of this pattern or shape. It is 4 1/4" tall x 8" from tip of handle to tip of spout x 3 7/8 across the bottom. Can't wait to find out what it really is, as I expect to feel stupid when someone tells me.....lol

Very unusual... maybe tea leaves in top & add boiling water from kettle? Now I'm curious :-)
It's a shaving mug....after more research I found it. So now I'd like to know when it was made?

Shaving mug never crossed my mind, but like I said. I'd likely feel stupid when I found out what it really is...lol

The area where the holes are held a round bar of soap, the mug held the warm water, the gentleman dipped the brush in, then made a lather with the soap then applied to his face.
There are many on eBay and other sites listed as cups with teabag holders , don’t know how you’re supposed to drink from it though!
I grew up in the UK (Scotland) and I think Crabtree & Evelyn, a popular soap maker, who marketed there goods in fine department stores, was established in the late 1960’s, and later had their own stores, so this can’t be older than that.
Mason’s didn’t become part of the Wedgwood group until 1968, so this was made after that date
