In Deep Thought

I call her "The Hat Lady" who seems to be in deep thought.
Love the flowered hat.
Initials "dgz" lower right.

She can be seen in her frame on my husbands roll top desk in one of my earlier post;

I decided to take her out of her gold frame and this is what I found....
seems to be some type of linen/cotton?
Is this painted on the linen/cotton or is this an example of fabric? I have no clue.
I find her expression/position fascinating and a plus was she was already nicely framed.

I will only post as visual art with no sub-category because I have no clue....

I didn't pay much for her so no complaints here ;)
