Japanese Creamer? Midcentury? Little blue sand crabs!

i found this today at my favorite junkshop. i think it's real cute - little blue sandcrabs on it. i think it's a creamer, but not sure. maybe it's a really small Sake bottle... ? signed on the bottom.
