i picked this piece of trim up at my favorite segunda in berkeley today. i think it's very beautiful. not sure if it is Chinese [probably] or Japanese. i wonder if it's a piece of a court robe?

This would look wonderful framed and on the wall..I have a Japanese hand done one one the wall and it looks great...yours look Japanese but not a hundred % ....love the colour of yours..
