I bought this for my mom for Mother's Day as she collects Donald Duck. Luckily she doesn't have this as she has a couple few hundred.
This figure is about 6" tall and made by Marx Toys. It was made in Hong Kong like the Disneykins (also made by Marx) so I am thinking early 1960s. In the last photo the Marx logo can barely be seen.
He has bendable arms and legs and his jacket is made out of cloth.
Yes he was a big hit.
