Evans 1957 Universe pattern. Set one of *almost* two....needs the dish to complete second set but is calling it a closed case for now.

What's the dish look like and I'll keep my beady eyes open. I think you did well to get the pieces you did.

Welcome to CW - hope you can post some more treasures.

Thanks! I was smitten the second I saw it for sure. It's the exact dish pictured up there. Every piece pictured here, I also own a double of...except the dish/ashtray/trinket tray thing.....I'm not really sure what it was intended for especially since all the little blue globs on all the pieces are raised, not flat (kinda weird for a trinkct tray I think bc of a chip risk to items and dish itself )...there's no cut outs to hold cigs if set down either. If I were of the times, even back then I would never think to use it as an ashtray. Whatever it's intended purpose actually is I shudder think about someone seeing it as part of the smoking set and snuffing one out and I'd most certainly lose my head if one were to toss car keys into it haha! Then again, the dish was my missing piece and it took years to find so I'm a bit protective.
