Sign looks all original. Has a very heavy frame and
transformer label reads "france manufacturing co.
instead of "franceformer". Maybe earlier model?

Nice sign! What does the SER number say? The pic is blurry but that number should be the date of mfg of the transformer. If it's the original one then you can date the sign
