ElReco Gasoline

Nope I'm not kidding! ElReco gasoline was for real. I know little about it except that I found this very cool dsp 5'x7' Porcelain Sign while I was in Iowa hunting signs last week. ElReco stands for the Eldorado Refining Company of Eldorado Kansas. As can be seen in the pix the condition of the sign is pretty nice with great colors. The name sounds like a bad joke on TexMex but it's the real deal. Can't wait to see it up on a pole at the new Lakeside Event Center in Provo Utah. Yet to be built of course!
