This was another cup and saucer I bought in a charity shop (It was with my earlier post "Present from Blackpool" cup and saucer), and is obviously from the same maker. Most similar items online seem to be from Germany, though no one, seems to mention a maker, or even date, though I think they are souvenir pieces from the Victorian period. This cup is very heavily gilded, and has frills as well, maybe not the most attractive cup I have ever seen, but interesting!!

If they were made for England it's not surprising they're unmarked. Usually when I can date similar pieces, they tend to be after 1905. The end of the Victorian and Edwardian period seem to really like pink and bright design.

The gilding looks beautiful on the cup, so one cannot use and wash the cup much !~
